Vanilla is a cured orchid pod — sweet, yes, but the real material is far stranger than the word suggests: leathery, smoky, faintly boozy, with a balsamic depth that has nothing to do with cupcakes. She is the slow dark gold at the bottom of a perfume.
A foundational base note, she warms, sweetens, and lingers, lending every fragrance she touches a hush of skin and hearth.
