Star Anise is a small fallen constellation, fragrant with licorice, shadow, and old medicine.

Star Anise wears its geometry like a sigil — eight woody chambers arranged in perfect symmetry, each cradling a seed. Cool and sweet, with the clean lift of licorice and a faintly resinous bite, she gives a fragrance its first sharp intake of breath.
Volatile and luminous, she belongs to the opening — a top-note flash of anethole that sparkles for a moment before dissolving into the warmer notes beneath, leaving the impression of light moving through dark glass.
