Rose
The Sovereign Bloom

Soft as prayer, sharp as thorns. The first symbol, and the last.
There is no escaping Rose. She is monarchy and martyr, wound and remedy, sacred oil and dangerous gift. No other flower carries such contradiction — honeyed and green, spiced and metallic, velvet and blood. In perfumery, she is not one thing, but a pantheon: Bulgarian and Turkish absolutes, Moroccan concretes, distilled petals, or CO₂ extractions — each telling a different chapter of the same myth.
She governs the heart note, opening in light and unfolding toward shadow. Always central, always watching.
