Myrrh
The Bitter Balm

A resin that smells of medicine, mourning, and warm shadow.
Myrrh is frankincense's darker sibling — earthier, more bitter, with a leathery, mushroomy underside and a slow medicinal warmth. She is the smell of a wound being dressed in a cathedral.
A heavy base note, she lends gravity and a faintly funereal sweetness, deepening every resin and rose she meets.
