Mastic is the resin of a sun-bitten island shrub — pale, almost chewy, with a piney, faintly camphorous transparency. She is the smell of a coast that has been hot for centuries.
As a heart note she gives a fragrance a clean, vegetal greenness that feels both ancient and just rinsed.
