Guaiacwood
The Smoked Cathedral

Old wood warmed by fire, rose-tinged and slow to leave.
Guaiacwood is the rarest kind of wood note — softly smoked, faintly rose-tinted, with a creamy almost tarry undertow. She smells like the inside of a beam after decades of woodsmoke and prayer.
A dense base note, she lends a violet-leather warmth that makes florals deeper and gourmands stranger.
