Amber is not a single material but an accord — a warm conspiracy of labdanum, benzoin, vanilla and balsams that conjures the impression of fossilised light. She is the smell of sun-warmed skin against old velvet, of resin held in the hand until it softens.
As a base note she radiates slow heat, smoothing every edge above her into something honeyed, lived-in, and quietly luxurious.
